African Culturalist Subversion of Western Otherizing Logic in Decolonising the Mind: Ngugi’s Indigenization Project

When discussing African literature, it becomes impossible to bypass the issue of language, and more importantly native languages, which seem be close quasi-inexistent when comes writing in them. In fact, most written literature has come life using languages European imposed by force at times subtly colonizers. his book groundbreaking Decolonising Mind, Ngugi wa Thiong’o, Kenyan writer critic, addresses attacking these practice both nation-states what said represent ideologically hegemonically use Africa. order have a truly i.e. one utterly independent from former colonial influences, proposes indigenous languages.
